Improperly prepared files increase the chances of an error being made on your ad - an error we cannot be responsible for. Desktop File Formats
Quark Xpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator EPS, Adobe Photoshop, PDF.
Printing
Web offset. Computer to plate. Binding: Perfect-bound. Four-color solids should not exceed SWOP intensity of 300%.
Desktop Instructions
All images, color, and scans must be in CMYK mode at 300 dpi. Include all image links and fonts.
Fonts
All fonts must be supplied, unless text is converted to outlines. Both the screen and printer fonts for all the type used in your file must be included on your disk.
Build Ad to Bleed Size
For full-page or spread non-bleed ads, float ad on page and place crop marks at trim size. Do not place type or nonbleed items closer than 5/16” to trim. Bleed all edges 1/8” outside trim lines.
PC?Submission
Submit as a PDF.
PDF Submission
Use 300 dpi for all images resolution. Embed all fonts and compress at Zip/Jpeg High. Downsample at 600 dpi. You may FTP file, but you must submit a proof. Fax and PDF proofs will not be accepted.
