A New Way to Wine from Glassful

Buying wine will never be the same again.

Glassful is a new service that delivers wines curated according to members’ tastes through a monthly subscription and online wine shop. Upon signing up, members take a fun interactive quiz to identify their taste profile. From there, Glassful delivers three wines hand-picked according to their taste preferences through a monthly subscription that also comes with a theme and gift.

Unlike other wine clubs that either send a blanket selection or ask members to choose from a few dozen options, Glassful makes things even easier by removing the burden of choice for its members and selecting the wines for them each month. Members are asked to rate the bottles they receive every month to generate a personalized selection of wines available for purchase every time they log in to Glassful’s online wine shop. The selection is heavy on organic, natural, and biodynamic wines made from thoughtful producers.

“No matter how much you know about wine, buying it can be overwhelming,” said CEO Adria Jover. “Glassful makes things easier by selecting the wines for our members so all they have to do is open and enjoy them.”

Glassful’s team of wine experts tastes through hundreds of bottles every month to craft a selection that speaks to the company’s values of quality, sustainability and is led by Alessio de Sensi, who was the Wine Director for Keith McNally’s McNally Group in New York City for more than 10 years.

“Wine has become over-complicated and there are so many choices,” said Maria Perez, Co-founder and Product Manager of Glassful. “We wanted to help our customers see wine as something simple, honest, and enjoyable. That’s why we place such an emphasis on quality.”

The monthly subscription rate starts at $54 for three bottles of hand-selected wines. Shipping is included and customers can skip or cancel subscriptions at any time without charge. Glassful has its headquarters in the burgeoning Long Island City neighborhood where it operates a warehouse, retail space, and office. For more information, about Glassful visit www.glassful.com.
