Plymouth, the gin of unrivaled heritage and quality, announces the arrival of the long awaited Plymouth Navy Strength, to US shores beginning this September. Plymouth Navy Strength, the preferred gin of the British Royal Navy and top mixologists around the world, offers an amplified aroma and fragrance of botanicals while retaining the brand’s signature smoothness and balanced character.

First introduced to the Royal Navy in 1793, Plymouth Gin is produced in the oldest working gin distillery, and the only major distillery left in Plymouth, London. “There is a strong tradition behind our Navy Strength Gin and we’re excited to share the exceptional taste as well as the esteemed history with gin aficionados and cocktail connoisseurs alike,” commented Maria Pribble, Senior Brand Manager, Plymouth Gin, Pernod Ricard USA. “The rich and balanced taste of our Navy Strength Gin adds a distinct new flavor to traditional martinis and gin and tonics and is perfect for the demands of today’s more adventurous consumers and mixologists.”

To support the launch, select POS materials will be available to alert consumers to the product’s arrival and availability. The materials will provide cocktail recommendations to encourage trial including the Plymouth Navy Strength Gimlet and Pink Gin.

 

Gimlet

  • 2 parts Plymouth Navy Strength
  • 1 part Fresh lime juice
  • Lemon Twist to garnish

Preparation: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

Pink Gin

  • 2 parts Plymouth Navy Strength
  • 3-4 dashes of Bitters
  • Lemon Twist to garnish

Preparation: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

Plymouth Navy Strength Gin (57% abv/114 proof) will be available in 750ml will retail for a suggested price of $34.99.
