Tall buildings, bright lights…it’s the city that never sleeps!

Despite the fast paced environment and ever changing landscape, there are still a few spots that preserve New York City’s Old School charm and Sons of Essex is one of them! Named after the “Sons of Liberty” who held down the Lower East Side when the British tried to take it over. The Sons of Liberty were the voice of the people and by fusing the name Sons of Liberty with their location on Essex Street, the name Sons of Essex was born. The menu is a reflection of the diverse melting pot of cultures that has gentrified the Lower East Side. Fusing a traditional American comfort food menu with the spices of Lower East Side, the use of local ingredients and Essex Street Market fruits & vegetables.

Sons of Essex has an eye grabbing list of New York beers like Brooklyn Brewery: British Summer Ale, Coney Island: Tunnel of Love and Empire Brewery: White Aphro. As you knock back a cold one from this list, you’ll instantly feel transported back to the 1900’s. Sons of Essex creates an atmosphere where the NYC melting pot can come together and enjoy a Lower East Side ‘Gangs of New York’ vibe with the generational beer list to match!
