Marina Kitchen’s Award-Winning Wine Program And Sommelier Joshua Orr Unveil A Wine Education Series During the Statewide Celebration of California Wine Month

This September, Marina Kitchen located in the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina welcomes California Wine Month with its new Wine Wednesday event series and tastings that highlight California’s signature agricultural product. Committed to providing guests with the finest wines from the state’s top vintners and growers, Marina Kitchen provides a number of ways for guests to experience the wine of the Golden State. Joshua Orr, recent winner of the Top|Somm Competition, and Marina Kitchen’s in-house sommelier, will lead 12 attendees each Wednesday evening through an educational journey that explores wine regions, parings, and the next big thing in California wine.

Priced at $10 per person, only 12 seats are available for each class. In addition to the educational component and wine tasting, attendees will receive a buy-one-get-one free brunch coupon for Marina Kitchen’s signature weekend breakfast buffet, as well as $10 off towards dinner in Marina Kitchen, to be redeemed the evening of the class. Wine Wednesdays with Joshua Orr will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the following days:

• Wednesday, September 24th

Marina Kitchen houses over 300 different bottles of wine, many of which are hailed from California. Throughout September, Marina Kitchen will offer tables of up to six guests half-off of all bottles of wine, up to a $50 discount with the purchase of two entrees, giving guests the opportunity to experience new wines and revisit timeless favorites.
