Food and Beverage Director, Mark Naber, has joined efforts with Director of Restaurants Sheldon Leuden and Beverage Manager Albert Tromp to create a program that is well-versed in its diverse offerings from Sunset Grille’s award-wining wine cellar.

Boasting a combined experienced of over 28 years, the team thoughtfully designed the program to feature an international selection, appropriately titled “Sunset Wine Flights,” presented seaside for guests to experience amid the unmatched island landscape.

Aruba’s only hotel wine program invites hotel guests and island visitors alike to soak in the sunset with the company of carefully selected wine at on-property restaurants including Sunset Grill, a newly renovated, Mediterranean inspired dining destination, and Mira Solo Martini & Wine Bar, a modern, chic space overlooking cascading waterfalls open to the sun, stars, and cooling breezes with the sounds of live entertainment. Guests are invited to sit back and sip on a variety of Sunset Wine Flights, each featuring three selections that are sure to please the palate.

wine5The wine program will soon add additional flights to its portfolio including Bordeaux, Pinot Envy, A Taste of Burgundy, and Que Syrah Shiraz. Guests can experience Sunset Wine Flights, each featuring three samples, for $10 every evening at Sunset Grille and on Thursday evenings from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Mira Solo Martini & Wine Bar. For those looking to extend their wine tasting, diners can purchase a bottle from the tasting to receive a $10 discount from the bottle price and find it waiting at their dinner table when they arrive.
