INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Van Gogh Cool Peach
  • 3/4 oz. Honey
  • 3/4 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 oz. (Chicha de Durazno)

PREPARATION

In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients shake with ice and strain into Collins glass, with ice.

Chicha de durazno – add 1 liter of water (34 oz.), 12 peaches without the seeds, 2 1/2 cups of amaranth (cereal), and 5 cinnamon sticks in your pot and boil for about 1 hour. Let cool and blend everything and double strain it.

INSPIRATION

In Peru we are taught to make healthy juices with a lot of different grains. My style in bartending is to give people a little taste of my country without having to go there. I decided to use peaches since is one of my favorite fruits and combined it with amaranth which i use to eat a lot when i was a kid. Is very similar to quinoa, it is a healthy ingredient that has been used as back as the Incan days.
