INSPIRATION

Baltimore as a community has stayed strong throughout all of the rioting that has happened lately. Due to the curfew being put in place, the biggest hit was to the restaurant industry. In light of the recent riots everyone really got together and showed their support to all of the restaurants and bars. Because our curfew had us in our houses by 9pm, brunch was the easiest way to show some love.

Myself and a large group of friends chose a different place every day during the rioting to have brunch. As many people know brunch crowds are big for mimosas and bloody marys. I went to a few places that had bacon vodka in their bloody marys and it got me thinking about how bacon is a very underused ingredient in alcoholic beverages (outside of bloodys.) That really inspired me to build a drink including bacon.. introducing, Apple Swine.
