1 oz. VEEV
1 oz. Rosemary-Infused Aperol
1 oz. Imbue Petal and Thorn Vermouth
Stir ingredients with ice, strain over a 2″x2″ ice cube.
My inspiration was the Negroni. VEEV is a has a crisp, clean sweetness that I wanted to shine through, I didn’t want to add any other sugar that would overpower it. The Rosemary is from our garden, featuring our own or foraged vegetables and herbs is one of the best parts of summer. The summers in Chicago are by far the best, but they are way too short; thus the inspiration for my bittersweet flavor profile.
