1 1/2 oz. of VEEV

1/2 oz. of Schladerer Black Forest Edel-Kirsch Cherry Liqueur

1/2 oz. (Half an Orange) Squeeze

If possible 1/2 oz. of freshly made blue berry syrup or 1/2 oz. of Bonne Maman Wild Blueberry Reserves

Dash of Crème de Violette


First rim the glass with the orange oils and drop it into a martini glass. Add all ingredients to a Boston shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds and strain into a martini glass. If using the wild blue berry reserves use fine strain along with a Hawthorne strainer.

I have been looking into going into a Avaition career as a helicopter pilot. And then I heard about the drink competition and thought that I would try and reinvent the classic cocktail Avaition using VEEV. When smelling this amazing acai spirit I got a lot of fruity notes and thought that orange would pair well with it. For the name of the cocktail I wanted to use Blue Aveevation so I decided to just make my own blueberry syrup.
