1 1/2 oz. VEEV
3/4 oz. Campari
1/4 oz. 2:1 Simple Syrup
2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
2 dashes Scrappy’s Orange Bitters
In a mixing glass combine bitters, simple syrup, Campari and VEEV. Add ice and stir until cold. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Squeeze grapefruit twist over the drink, then rub rim of glass. Discard twist. Enjoy!
VEEV has excellent berry notes that I wanted to highlight. Campari really lifts without being overpowering.
