2 1/2 oz. VEEV
1/2 oz. Fresh Made Simple Syrup
1 1/2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
3/4 oz. Prosecco (Float on Top)
Full wine glass with ice, then full your shaker with ice. Add simple syrup, VEEV spirit, and grapefruit juice. Shake vigorously and strain contents into the wine glass over the new ice (to ensure lowest temperature) float your prosecco over until full and garnish with a grapefruit twist.

My favorite spirit is gin. And my favorite drink is a French seventy five, because of it’s backstory of the American GI’s reasons for creating the cocktail. I also like how old the cocktail is. When I saw VEEV the first thought in my head was a Brazilian style drink of the same fashion.
