INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. Veev

1/2 oz. Tanqueray gin

1/2 oz. Domaine de canton ginger liqueur

1 oz. Matcha simple syrup

1 Egg white

PREPARATION:

Combine all ingredients and dry shake. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into coupette and garnish with sifted matcha powder.

GARNISH:

Sifted matcha powder

GLASSWARE:

Coupette martini glass

INSPIRATION:

Being that veev was “born in Brazil” and having a background in japanese and South American cuisine, it was only natural that I create a cocktail that contained ingredients from both of these beautiful places. The light, neutral taste of veev helps showcase the earthy matcha, and the botanicals in the gin give the perfect bite in this Matcha Bees Knees.
