1 oz. Fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. Simple syrup (1:1)
1/2 oz. Opuntia Prickly Pear Spirit (Ventura Spirits)
1 1/2 oz. Veev Acai Spirit
1 Bunch of fresh mint
1 Slice of fresh cucumber
Several dashes of Angostura and Peychaud’s bitters, for garnish
Add citrus and sweetener to a Collins glass with the fresh herbs and produce and muddle. Combine spirits in glass and add crushed ice. Swizzle and garnish.

I have been wanting to use Veev in a cocktail for a long time now and have played around with it at home. I find that it pairs really well with lime and mint and have done several variations on classics to find what flavor profile works. Ventura Spirits makes an incredible Prickly Pear Spirit and I have found that it pairs wonderfully with the Veev. This cocktail is a twist on the Queens Park Swizzle but named after the neighborhood in which I live, Ocean Park in Santa Monica.
