INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. VEEV

1 oz. Lime Juice

3/4 oz. Mornin Agave Syrup

2 Splenda Packets

7-10 Basil Leaves (One for Garnish)

Splash Soda

Pinch of Salt

PREPARATION:

Muddle 6-9 basil leaves, 2 packets of splendor, and 3/4 oz. agave syrup in the bottom of a shaker tin. Add VEEV and lime juice to the shaker tin: shake and strain over ice in a 12 oz. Collins glass. Add a splash of soda, and a healthy pinch of salt to the top.

GARNISH:

A Slapped Basil Leaf

GLASSWARE:

12 oz. Collins

INSPIRATION:

I’m a huge fan of Gimlets (and what is a margarita if not a tequila Gimlet in the end?) and heading into summer I could not be more excited to enjoy something cold and refreshing without being excessively fruity.
