INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. Veev Acai

1/2 oz. Maraschino Liqueur

1/4 oz. Creme de violette (or yvette)

3/4 oz. Fresh lemon juice

approx. 1/4 oz. Mezcal

PREPRATION:

Add all ingredients into a shaker (except mezcal) and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe. Add mezcal float

GARNISH:

Lime wheel and cherry

GLASSWARE:

Coupe

INSPIRATION:

This cocktail is a twist on an Aviation, which is one of my favorite cocktails. Santos is not only the name of my grandfather, but the name of a brazilian aviation pioneer. I work at a bar that focuses on agave spirits, so I had to add a float of mezcal to bring it home!!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!! Saude!
