INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. VEEV

1/2 oz Domaine de Canton

1 oz Lemon Juice

1/2 Bourbon Cherry Juice (Equal Parts Bourbon and Cherry Juice)

3 dashes of Orange Bitters

Top with Prosecco

PREPARATION:

Add all ingredients except Prosecco with ice. Shake vigorously for 5-10 seconds and then double strain into a chilled coupe. Top with prosecco and garnish.

GARNISH:

Flamed Orange Peel and a Bourbon Cherry

Coupe

INSPIRATION:

My guests are almost always my inspiration. This drink was for a group of lovely ladies celebrating an impending nuptial. The bride to be was looking for something fun, bubbly, and different from her normal vodka drink. I picked her brain on some of the flavors she liked and went to work. The challenges of divining a drink for a guest on the spot is my favorite part of the job. I kept it relatively simple, bright, and through a little homage to yardbirds expansive whiskey offerings in there to tie the whole experience together.
