INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 oz. VEEV

1/2 oz. Strawberry Liqueur (DeKuyper)

1/2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Dash of Cranberry Juice

INGREDIENTS:

Rim a chilled cocktail glass with sugar. Curl a long spiral of lemon zest in the glass. Add ingredients in Boston shaker with ice and shake heavily. Strain into glass.

GARNISH:

Long Spiral of Lemon Zest.

GLASSWARE:

Cocktail Glass

INSPIRATION:

I wanted to make a summertime-inspired contemporary version of one of the oldest cocktails (1862 Jerry Thomas). Bartender friendly (lemon spirals can be prepped ahead of time).
