INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. VEEV

1/2 oz. Maraschino Liquor

1/2 oz. Chartreuse

1/2 oz. Lime Juice

Dash of. Lemon Bitters

Edible Flower

INGREDIENTS:

Add all ingredients into a mixer, add ice, shake and strain into a chilled Cocktail glass. Garnish with edible flower.

INSPIRATION:

In this case, the classic Last Word cocktail was a starting point. I used the subtle yet complexly pleasurable VEEV in place of the less desirable Gin. I found that it plays very nicely with the herbaceous Chartreuse and candy like components of the Maraschino. The acidity of the Lime and punch of the Lemon bitters brought it all together into harmony! The edible flower just adds another floral element that sings a high note in this symphony of VEEV!!!!
