1 1/2 oz. VEEV Vodka
3 oz. Boyland Ginger Beer
3 Basil leaves
3 Slices of Cucumber
2 Wedges of Lime
Muddle basil leaves, lime wedges and cucumber slices in a tin. Add VEEV vodka and ice to shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour contents of shaker into a rocks glass. Add Boyland Ginger Beer. Stir to mix ingredients.
Guests are always asking for something light and refreshing. Our cocktail list is corporate driven and is always a season behind with respect to guest needs. I decided to gather some ingredients from the kitchen that I felt could help create a refreshing drink.
Ginger beer is something that I enjoy using, so it made sense to use it here. Virginia summers are warm and humid. This drink tends to make your forget all about that.
