INGREDIENTS:

2 oz. VEEV

1 oz. Cocchi Americano

3/4 oz. Royal Combier

3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

Healthy Spray or Rinse of Mati Hari Absinthe

PREPARATION:

Take chilled Coupe Glass, apply Mati Hari Absinthe. We have aerosol misters, but a simple Absinthe rinse works fine. Be sure to apply a healthy amount. Turn Chilled Coupe upside down. This will prevent the absinthe from collecting in the bottom of the glass.

In mixing glass, combine VEEV, Cocchi Americano, Royal Combier, and Fresh Lemon Juice – use jiggers, hot shot. Add crushed ice to mixing glass, be sure to fill.

Shake with purpose for 10-12 seconds.

Turn Coupe Glass upright. Strain into chilled absinthe coupe.

Garnish and Enjoy.

GARNISH:

Braided Lemon Twist Cradle with Acai Berries

GLASSWARE:

Coupe Glass

INSPIRATION:

Let’s be honest, in this trade few things inspire us to drink better than a BAD hangover. We’ve all been there. The morning after can be long and painful. Balance is critical. Enter VEEV. In concept, practice and spirit – VEEV embodies balance. The word “VEEV” itself, is a perfect palindrome; spelled and pronounced the same way forward and backward. In cocktails, the classic hangover remedy is the Corpse Reviver #2. VEEV updates this classic with acai & cherry accents playing nicely with the citrus and floral overtones. The VEEV Reviver is crisp, off-dry, and uplifting. Harmony. Oh, one more thing – Reviver is the same forward and backward. Balance.
