INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. VEEV

3/4 oz. Creme de Violette

1/4 oz. Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

1/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

2 dashes Orange Bitters

PREPARATION:

Mix ingredients in a mixing glass, shake with ice and double strain into glass.

GARNISH:

Fresh Cut Lemon Swath

GLASSWARE:

Coupe Glass

INSPIRATION:

I wanted to create a refreshing yet subtle cocktail along the lines of a new version of an Aviation or Cosmopolitan, but with the flavors of VEEV and Creme de Violette; a drink worthy of a warm Chicago summer evening.
