VEEV WHITE NEGRONI EGG

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. VEEV 2.0

3/4 oz. Doling Dry Vermouth

3/4 oz. Salers Aperitif

PREPARATION:

Prepare hollow ice sphere with hollow center. In a chilled mixing glass add all three ingredients. Stir until diluted 20%. In a double old fashioned glass put in a base layer of crushed ice (Just enough to hold ice sphere centers in the glass). Double strain VEEV Negroni into cavity in ice sphere. Navel orange oils around the rim of glass (disguard orange peel). Serve drink with a tea spoon let guest crack the ice sphere.

Orange Oil

Double Old Fashioned

INSPIRATION:

My inspiration comes from the Avery bar in Chicago. They serve a cocktail in a similar way and I think it’s amazing. I chose Negroni as its one of my favorite of the classics and a tip of that to Negroni week.
